Yield

Definition

Yield is another name for ROI per unit staked, expressing profit as a percentage of turnover. It is commonly used in European betting markets and is mathematically identical to ROI. A positive yield over a large sample indicates an edge.

Formula

Yield = (Net Profit / Total Turnover) x 100%

Example

After 1,000 bets with a total turnover of $25,000 and net profit of $1,250, your yield is 1,250 / 25,000 = +5.0%.
