Under the hood
First-party cookies + device fingerprinting
We drop a first-party cookie on oddslab.tech and layer on device-level signals so the match survives cookie resets.
Desktop and mobile
Tracking works across sessions on both desktop and mobile — the same referral follows the user between devices when they sign in.
Email-based attribution
If the user signs up with an email they typed on a page loaded from your referral link, you get credited even without a cookie.
Server-side, ITP-resistant
Attribution runs server-side so Safari / iOS ITP cookie expiry doesn't break the match. No 7-day wipe.
Edge cases
What if they clear cookies?
Email attribution still works. As long as they use an email typed on a page loaded from your link, we credit you.
What if they use a VPN?
VPNs don't break us. Attribution relies on device ID + user behaviour, not IP geolocation.
What if two affiliates' cookies exist?
Last click within 180 days wins. Whoever sent the most recent affiliate click before signup gets the commission.
